Sister Giustina was born November 26, 1923 to Natale and Giustina Zanin in Vintondale, PA. In 1945, she made Vows of consecrated chastity, obedience and poverty to God with the Sisters of Mary of the Presentation. She worked with the Sisters as a sacristan, seamstress, and cook. Sister Giustina lived and served in convents in Spring Valley, IL, Peoria, IL, Washington, IL, Willow City, ND, Bottineau, ND, and Valley City, ND.

Independent and accomplished, she did not let her deafness limit her. Sister Giustina was an artist – she painted, drew, made her own clothing patterns, and sewed teddy bears from old coats. She loved to visit with people and was especially fond of children. Sister Giustina lived boldly and with a joyful heart. She will be greatly missed.
